Julia Seton Author Biography
Julia M. Seton was the second wife to the great Ernest T. Seton who wrote many novels with Julia. Sh attended Hunter College in
New York, there is where she wrote most of her Native American literature. She married her husband in El Paso, Texas in 1935.
The first every published book she wrote was called The Gospel Of The Redman which was illustrated by her husband.
Together the couple wrote many stories and help each other edit, illustrate, etc.
She helped her husband in many ways and attended clubs, presentation, lectures, etc. Julia and her husband traveled around
the world to different countries to attend lectures, speeches, etc. After her husband's death in 1946 she continued to maintain
the Sante Fe estate and traveled to lecture other people around the world by herself. 22 years later, after her husband's death,
she suffered a non-fatal stroke. Over the next seven years, she just lived the rest of her days in her home in Santa Fe with her
Native American music.
